Dorothy, the very first DIS meet, I think, was in FL, at WDW. I have been to several in Philly though.

In order to get a meet going, you need to post a feeler to find both an interest and date good for the greatest number of people. From there you hone in on a location and time. You need to follow up, keep the thread up on page one every so often, if it does not by itself, follow up with pm's or emails. Not too difficult, but it does take a little bit of work. In your area, you can pm both Barb and goofygirl, both have done meets. You have a very large group of DIS'ers there, Dorothy. PM me if you need any help.
