Another great Chicago area DIS meet--Pictures

<p><b>Yesterday's Chicago meet was held at the food court at the Chicago Ridge Mall in
suburban Oak Lawn, just a few miles southwest of Chicago.  There also was a
Collectors Board pin meet, scheduled to start at 10 AM, the CB meet started at 1
PM.  When the CB folks got there, the pin meet was in full swing!</b></p>

<p><b> I do not know many of the folks' names from the Collectors Board,
though a few I do.  Hope I get the ones I know right and don't forget to
name ones I should know, LOL. <img onmousedown="smile(this.src);" src="http://www.plauder-smilies.de/sad/confusedpp.gif" border="0" width="15" height="22"> 
I know Flitter (Mary) and Figmant2 (Cyndi) on the left, in purple, in this
picture.  A few folks did give me their names, but overnight I have lapsed
into a memory loss.  I know yepod (John) has a 'cheat sheet', something I
usually do at meets, but not this time.</b></p>

<p><b>As the sun sets and the mall darkens, the trading among the serious few

<p><b>And I always know when John gets this look, the meet is near over, and it
was.  We were out of the mall about 15 minutes after, as it was closing
time, 7 PM.</b></p>
<p><b>We had a great time, DIS'ers from Massachusetts, Connecticut, Ohio,
Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin and, of course, Illinois. <img alt="Group Hug" src="http://www.magictrips.com/forums/images/smilies/grphug.gif" border="0" width="41" height="25"> 
A great pre-meet meet at Gino's the night before and an all day meet on
Saturday, coupled with lots of folks from the Collectors Board.  They have
so many neat looking pins and do know their stuff.   Lady M (Marie)
was not at the Saturday meet, as her mom had surgery earlier in the week and was
coming home on Saturday.  It was great to have her come to the Gino's meet.</b></p>
<p><b>We now have to start thinking of our January meet.  I think it will
be an IMAX Lion King meet, from what I have heard.  Hope to see everyone

Thanks Dan! It was an awesome meet! We met up with Glo, Phil, John and the girls and had a great breakfast this morning. John was then on his way catching a ride with Pandy home. The Glosters joined us for mass then we spent the day at Brookfield Zoo! A little dinner at Boana Beef Phil had not had that pleasure yet, and they are off on thier ride home It was so wonderful to see everyone this weekend, it will hold us over until Discon
