Returned home Friday night from BCV. Had a great time with my friend and my DD and her two friends. We checked in about 11 a.m. but our rooms weren't ready until about 2:30 p.m. which wouldn't have been a problem as we had planned to be at SAB only it started raining about noon. Teenagers have no patience and are harder to entertain than small kids!!! LOL!

My friend and I were in studio 327, which was a lockoff. It had a view of the woods and Illuminations fireworks. The balcony was small but held two chairs and table. It was only two doors down the hallway from the main elevators. Just heard the phone ring once next door and a few muted voices so noise was not an issue. Sofa bed wasn't quite as comfortable as bed but I slept fine. Might not be good for someone with back problems as the mattress isn't as supportive as the bed. Water temp was hot and water pressure was fine. Room seemed a little stuffy when I first walked in but cooled off immediately. I wondered if that was just because the hallways are ice cold. Never woke up during the night because it felt stuffy. In fact the first night, I only had one blanket on the sofa bed and I got a little cool. From then on I used two blankets. Bathroom faucets leaked when I turned them on and maintenance replaced them quickly. He said the supplier sent them inferior faucets and they were having to replace over 2000 of them so I figured it was at more resorts than BCV. He said supplier was having to pick up the cost of the faucets but Disney was having to supply the labor to replace them.

DD and her friends were in a dedicated studio #331. It was just two doors down from our studio. They also had the woods/Illuminations fireworks view and a small balcony. They didn't comment about the a/c but they did comment that their water wasn't very hot and didn't have much pressure. Remember though that these are teenage girls!!! Of course they also complained about not having housekeeping daily or enough towels even though I bought them an extra set. LOL!

Even though the rain messed up our pool plans on Sunday and Monday afternoon, we had a pretty good trip! We went to PI on Sunday evening and really enjoyed the Comedy Warehouse and Adventurers Club!

We went to EMH at MGM on Tuesday and thought it was very crowded. Only able to ride ToT and RNR twice before 9 a.m. By 10 a.m. GMR had a 50 minute wait. Went to WWTBM's 10:30 show and was #2 again. Then rode ST and left about 12:30 to go back to the pool. Went to Epcot that evening. TT had no fast passes left but we rode JIYI, SE, and Mexico ride. Also saw Honey I Shrunk the Audience and sent postcards home from Innoventions.

We also did EMH at MK on thursday. It wasn't quite as crowded early as MGM but still didn't do as much as we used to do with EMH. By Noon wait times for Space Mtn and BTMRR were 50-60 minutes on standby. DD and friends went back to pool for afternoon while my friend and I went on to AK as she had never been there. I was pleasantly surprised that KS had less than 20 minute wait time mid-afternoon and their were several animals out and about even in the heat. We also watched ITTBB and rode Dinosaur. KRR was a 75 minute wait so we skipped it. After a quick trip back to hotel for a shower and a bite to eat we went to MGM to ride GMR and to see Fantasmic. It was misting rain but stopped right before Fantasmic.

We ate at Dolphin Fountain, Benihani at Hilton, Beaches & Cream, Rainforest Cafe at DD, ESPN Club, Mexico restaurant at Epcot, Hurricane Hannahs, O'Hanna, Plaza Pavilion, Yachstmen Steakhouse & Cape May Cafe character breakfast. ESPN, YS, and Cape May Cafe were our favorites.

Sorry this is so long. I was just going to report on our rooms but after I got started I kept thinking . . . I should report on this . . . and this . . . and this . . .

I'll be happy to try and answer any questions!

Great to read about your trip.

Like you, we did not have any problems at all in BCV. We loved it!:bounce:

Sounds like a good trip!!!

I have stayed at BCV twice since October 2002, and both times have found it to be a great resort, with nice CMs who were always very responsive to requests.

Thanks for the great trip report Donna! You have me longing to go back now!

Thanks for the trip report. I am flying down on Thursday for a long weekend at OKW but I know I am going to stop by BCVs and have lunch at Beaches n Cream! I can't wait. I promise a trip report, too
