I just bought the regular 2-park Annual Preferred pass where you pay regular price for 1 at $160 and get a second one for 1/2 off for $80.

This pass has no block-out dates and gives you all the wonderful discounts at the stores, restaurants, resorts, etc. Discounts go from 10% to 30% with the pass. You get free parking with this pass, too.

It's a limited time offer to December 31, 2002.

There's another AP pass offer out there which is the seasonal one for $100 each but you don't get the discounts or free parking and their are blockout dates.

I think this is an awesome deal. I've already saved money by using it to book my room at the Royal Pacific and I received 30% off.

Go to the Universal site and this will be with the ticket offers to buy.

Does this pass become effective when you purchase it or when you first enter one of the parks. We will be there in April for the Lights, camera, music performance for my son's school and will be there for a couple of days this is a great deal. Each annual pass comes out to appx. $ 120.00

According to the Universal website, you need to buy by 12/31/02.
I received a voucher tic that I will exchange when I get to the park. Universal takes your picture for this pass; so, you need to be present. Redemption of your voucher will be the point in time where the year starts ticking. I'll be redeeming mine before 12/31/02. There where no stipulations on the web-site if the same time limit applies for redemption.

You can call Universal at 1-800-564-5764 to make sure. I think you should be ok but it's best to check with the master, Universal.

When I looked on the website the tickets were 239.00
each. Am I looking in the wrong place.

The $239 is not for one ticket, it is for two. They are actually 119.95 each!!

Thanks for the info!

I did call and you can activate the tickets at any time! They are activated the first day you enter the parks and there is no limit on when you have to use them by! I actually just received my vouchers in the mail and there is no expiration date on them!!

I know there was some confusion about ordering because I was confused myself at first.
On the website it says tickets are $239 but that is for two tickets!! So when you enter quantity you should only enter 1 in order to receive 2!!!
For instance, I needed 6 annual passes so I ordered quantity 3 and just received 6 vouchers in the mail!! IT'S A GREAT DEAL!

We ordered the tickets on line and picked them up right at the park it really is a good deal. We showed our pass everywhere for a discount usually 20%.
