Another Going in August thread

Now that it's official - I booked my August trip.
Going August 14 - the 21st.


Staying at Pop Century and not telling by DD until the day we get to the airport.

Anyone else going in August.

Can't wait until I get to Pop Century and take a dip in the Hippie Dippie Pool and have a lava lamp.

Frozen Cokes, Squirting Flowers and a nice cold beer at Pop Century.
Life is Good.

I am too! I can't tell you how excited I am.

We arrive on Aug 13th for a night at AKL before moving into BWV for 12 nights, then 2 offsite then 3 at SSR. I can't wait!

I am also keen to try Pop, I think it looks like lots of fun

I actually like August in WDW. Strange, I know. But I am looking forward to roasting August 24th - 30th. I have big plans for swimming, swimming & more swimming!

(which is made even more appealing by the fact that I am looking out the deck over fields of snow)

Going to the Yacht Club Concierge Level with DD9, DD6, and DS5 from 8/9 - 8/16. DH will come in for the weekend.

I can justify the cost of CL since DH won't be with me most of the time and somebody needs to be around to take care of me!

We're going "home" to BWV August 22-29 and then over to AKL concierge to celebrate my birthday August 29-31!!!!

we fly down on the 25th, 2 nights at RPR/Universal... followed by 5 nights at PC and then the big surprise for the kids... 2 nights at ALK! WOOHOO! as the trip starts to firm up and get "real" i am getting ridiculously excited!! now, when can i start making those PSs?! LOL!

We are going to BCV August 19-26. I am a little worried about the crowds, but anything beats going at Christmas.

We are going down Aug 16 to 24 and staying at the Contemporary. We were at WDW during the same time 3 years ago and the crowds were pretty manageable.
