Another Saturday, another Gameboy question from me. :D You guys are great!

DS and DD are getting Gameboy Advances for their birthdays in April and May. How can I find out some good games for the younger Gameboy players? There are so many games and I don't know where to begin. I've tried looking at some websites, but haven't been helped that much. Any suggestions? Also, are all the Gameboy Color games able to be played in Gameboy Advance? Thank you all so much for your help!

I just asked my son, and he said yes, all gameboy color games can be played on gameboy advanced. But, the black and white versions can't.

I'll let my son, age 8, tell you which games he likes. Not sure how old your kids are, but my son has had gameboy for a few years, and these are his faves over the years:

Mario Advance 3, Zelda the Oracle of Seasons, DragonBall Z, Nicktoon Racing, Croc 2, Pokemon Silver Version, Lego Bionacle, Harry Potter & The Chamber of Secrets, and Pacman

All the gameboy color games fit into the gameboy advance, too. :)

my DS (7yrs) loves his Return To Neverland!

Oh, we forgot about that one, worm! DS definately recommends Return to Neverland as well. :)

I know nothing about gameboys. Are they very expensive? I'm thinking about sending one as a gift to someone I admire very much.

Gameboy Advance is in the $70 range. Worth every bit of entertainment though!

My son's FAVORITE gameboy game is anything Mario Bros, but he has a Toy Story, Bug's Life, Tarzan, Monster's Inc game & several others. Oh yeah...PacMan too. My fave one to play is Tom & Jerry.

My son plays his GameBoy Color games in his GameBoy Advance system. Don't forget to pick up a GameBoy Light (for them to play while riding in a dark car.) Those are usually less than $10.

Happy GameBoying!!! :D

They have a new GameBoy Advance out that is $99, but it has a backlit light that works better than the attachable lights...so I have heard.

Are you talking about the Old Gameboy Advance or the new one(Gameboy Advance SP)

either way they both will play all Gameboy, Gameboy Color and gameboy advance games

I usually go to target for the best deals and buy games when they first come out and are cheaper or on clearance.

My DS has GBA 1st edition but we are getting him the new SP for his BD he is 5 I like that the light is built in and the battery is rechargeable

You may be be better off getting the new game boy advance sp. It's about $20 more than the regular advance one.

DS has been asking for the new one. He doesn't even play with old one anymore,

The new one will play GBA games.
