My daughter just received 2 different volunteer opportunities. She received the letter in the mail by the volunteer group. She signed up with Disney in Jan. She had some problems with the sign up, so did it again.when she heard nothing, she signed up again. So now she has to decided who to volunteer for. How can she be sure that this is for give a day promotion? When she goes to Disney Destinations and put in her account information, it says they have no record of her e-mail. Who should she call or e-mail to find out if she is actually registered? Thanks

Is there a reason she can't just do both? If she is concerned about getting a ticket I would possibly contact the group she signed up with. They might be able to let you know if she is still eligible for a ticket (if she signed up recently she won't be getting a ticket because the promotion is over- but if she was already signed up before it ended about two weeks ago, then she'll get her ticket still).

But when we did ours, when we signed in on the GAD website it showed the "event" that we were registered for and then we got a reminder email when it was a few days away. I would assume if it is not showing up it is not for GAD.

Good luck.

My VOP was Project Linus, they sent e-mails with contract information. So I don't think that will help here.
But Hands On Network, the group managing the opportunities has contact information I found:
HandsOn Network
600 Means Street, Suite 210
Atlanta, GA 30318

Phone: 404.979.2900
Fax: 404.979.2901
E-mail: info@handsonnetwork.org

Someone there might be able to at least point you in the right direction.

Had she completed sign up/registration through the Disney site before March 5th? I ask because the option to sign up/register closed on March 5; Disney reached their million voucher quota. Everyone who has completed registration for service within the following 60 days *should* still receive a voucher upon service completion and verification.

She signed up in Jan., but have gotten nothing from Disney. She was not sure she had done it right and so did it again. Thats why we would like to know if it went through, because we know the promo is over.

Well, it sounds as if she expresses interest (that's the first step) through the Disney site. Next she should have been contacted by the organization she expressed interest in, then with them she would have set up an exact date & time to volunteer. Following that she would have needed to go back into the Disney site to confirm her date & time of service. This step is what actually made you eligible to receive a voucher. This could only be done a maximum of 60 days before service.

I felt that the entire process was difficult to navigate through for even the computer savvy.
