Does everyone one in your party have to use the same attractions for FP+? For example if DD and myself wanted to use Space mountain for our top FP+ could DW and younger DD & DS use a different top attraction for theirs?

Each member of your party could do completely different rides if they wanted to. You can certainly select and ride Space Mountain with your daughter using FP+ while the rest of your family rides Buzz Lightyear (or similar) using their FP+ selection at the same time. When you go to make your FP+ selections, it will ask which members of your party you want to make the selection for. So you'd pick yourself and your daughter and select Space Mountain and then the time. Then go back to make your next selection and only pick the remaining members of your party. You can then select the attraction and time they want.

what you tican't do is pick specific times. So if you and your daughter pick Space Mt and the rest of the family pick Buzz, then you are going to have a hard time all getting the same pass together for big thunger Mt later in the day. Think of that way. Each day you can put your party in to a group any way you want. It lets you select who you are making them for. So you put two into one group and pick your three selections for that group and you put the rest in another group and pick your three selections for that group. So say you pick BTMRR for both groups. There is no guarentee that the return time the two groups get for BTMRR will be the same. If you put it in the same order (like second pick for both) you will probably be able to get it to overlap the same time window, but if you make your time window really narrow there will be the added stress of getting to BTMRR at just the right time or of standing there wasting time waiting for the BTMRR window to open.

Very good point.

I should have asked... will you have MagicBands or not? If you have MagicBands it is very easy to prebook all of this early and get everything setup how you like it. With MagicBands, you can select your whole family for some rides, and then setup the split rides as I mentioned above.

Without MagicBands, you will be limited to day of selections in the park which might make getting the same times more difficult.

Sorry, should have included that. Yes we will have magic bands.

You are in luck, then. You can setup everything as I mentioned in my first post above. With each FP+ selection you can pick the family members, attractions, and times.

If you are going to be riding 2 rides together and only splitting up for the 3rd, the best way to do it would be:

1. Make your initial selection with all family members selected and pick the 3 attractions you want to ride. For the split one, just pick Space Mountain for everybody for now.

2. Once you have all 3 attractions and have selected one of the 4 recommended time layouts for the day, you can alter the times to fit your needs. Just go back in and select "Change". You can then to select attraction you want to change the time for, pick "Change the time", and select all members of your party. You can setup specific times for each ride to suit your needs.

3. Once you have your times all lined up, go back in and select "Change" again. Pick "Space Mountain". On the next page pick "Change the Experience" and put a check mark next to each family member not riding Space Mountain. After you pick Next you can select a new ride that will apply only to the people selected. The ride you pick for them will have the same time window as the Space Mountain FP+ for you and your daughter.

thank you for posting that. I had just figured out that you could do it that way from playing with the ap just now and was coming back to say it. It works. Make the three fast passes for the whole group, then click on the one you want to change for the sub-group and click change experience, then select only the ones you want to change. Everyone will still have the other two and you split that one.

Thank you for this information! I wanted to make sure it was simple to change one person before I went ahead and booked all of us with the same attractions.
