Another FP+, park hopping question

What is everyone's experience with having a kiosk CM check FP+ availability at another park for your add'l fp's? I'm contemplating hoppers for the first time this trip but it would be nice if I could see what add'l FP+'s are available before deciding to hop. I know people suggest to book your fp's for the second park but I'm still interested to know if there is any likelihood of obtaining say, that 4th FP before you hop.

I don't believe the CMs can access FP+ information for a different park.

I don't believe this is possible. I've seen a couple reports of a concierge being able to set up a 4th FP+ at a different park during a resort break before hopping, but my understanding is the in-park FP+ locations are only set up for that park. You could move things around via the app if you booked FP+ for your second park and see availability that way...

Well, there is a caveat to this...your resort concierge can make the 4th FP+ for you at your resort, so if you're taking a break at the resort, you can definitely book your 4th before you arrive at the second park (we've done this ourselves several times). But an in-park CM can't make FP+s at another park, that's for sure.

Thanks for the replies. You'd think it would be an option and it wouldn't be too difficult to implement. One last question....can you go to any concierge or does it have to be the one that you're a guest at (I'm still staying on Disney property)? Thinking that if we're having ice cream at B&C, can I pop into their concierge to check?
