hello,

We have FP or wishes tonight as our third FP. Once we are scanned in to the area, can we send one member back to a FP kiosk to try and score #4? Since the park closes at midnight, there maybe a couple of FP left somewhere. Kids looking to see town sq Mickey...

Anyone able to do this, or once you're in the wishes FP area you're stuck?

Tks!

You can try for another FP. Chances are slim you'll have one left by then but it can't hurt to try.

I know we went out of the area and came back in.

Ok tks. So when you go out of the area the system knows your FP was used?
I have no idea. I just know we went in, got a place to sit down and DH went out to get us drinks. Folks were coming and going the entire time but I didn't pay attention to how the CM knew who had gone out and who was coming back in.

You're going to have better luck just riding SB with short lines than trying to get a FP+ that late. Any FP+ you do manage to get is going to be essentially worthless because the lines won't be long anyway.

The lines will be so short after Wishes that you'll actually be wasting time stopping at a kiosk. Just remember that the posted waits will still be high. They're trying to discourage you from riding late at night.

We did not experience short lines after Wishes last week. Last Thursday we went to ride Space Mountain after Wishes and it was actually our longest wait of our entire trip (Wishes was at 10 so it was probably about 10:30-11:00ish). My children did not want to FP because they wanted to play the games in the Space cue but I definitely would have loved to have a FP if there were any available (the Lines app said they were gone anyway). After Wishes was over there was a huge rush of people flooding to Tomorrowland, I was really surprised and actually remarked to my friend about it because I had read many times that people leave after Wishes and these people were definitely not leaving. The park closed at 12am and we only had time for Space Mountain and 7DMT after Wishes because of the wait times.

Yes, I'm guessing many people are taking breaks during the day so they stay late...I am looking to see Mickey and not sure how that line will be at night...

Wow, that's unusual. We were there just a few weeks ago on a crowd level 8 day and found very short wait times after Wishes. Space Mtn had a posted wait of 40 minutes, but we rode 4 times in 35 minutes. 7D had a posted wait of 65 minutes, but the actual wait was about 5. Peter Pan had a posted wait of 40 minutes but the actual wait was less than 1. There were only about 10 people in line. I could go on and on...

I was really surprised. It was our last night there and my children wanted to close down the park (fine with me). I thought we could get in a few more lasts but when the mob was heading the same direction as us I was surprised enough to say something. It really wasn't a big deal, we had a great week with very little waiting in any lines really so waiting to do their favorite one more time was no big deal. 7DMT was about 20 minutes or so, we got out just at midnight.

Yes.
When you enter the area, the CM will scan your MBs with a wireless scanner connected to the MKs server.
The info that you have used your FP+ to enter will be registered in the system.

On a busy day in late May we did Jungle Cruise, Buzz, BTMR, Aladdin Carpets (hadn't done it that day so went ahead with no wait) and 7DMT. Also caught a good bit of MSEP in Frontierland. There were short to walk on lines for all except 7DMT and it was only 25.
Now you could possibly get a FP for BTMR or something but I think at this point I would just do SB.

After the last Wishes of the night, can we still line up for rides?

After the last Wishes of the night, can we still line up for rides?

Only if MK is still open.

Unlike at Epcot where IllumiNations nearly ALWAYS begins at park closing time
(so after the fireworks, no ride entrance is still open for new guests,)
Wishes does NOT always start at MK closing time.

So, MK can still be open for another 45 min. (or hour and 45 min., or more) after Wishes ends.
You just have to check the calendar.
And, sometimes, MK will announce DURING THAT DAY that it will be open that evening an hour later than has been posted.

And, BTW, there is only one Wishes performed at MK per night.
There can be two parades, but only one Wishes per night.

Well it was mixed...after wishes space kept long waits till closing. We rode splash twice (25 min wait, followed by walk on), carpets and jungle cruise on the way out. So a pretty good hour!
