Silly question but Do your legs hang down on the ride or is there a floor beneath you? May have someone with an ankle cast and just wondering if she will be able to ride.
Thanks.

Here is a picture.

My left foot hit one of the dementors during one of my rides. That's how close the stuff is to you.

I have always kind of wondered through the whomping willow part how many people do hit ride objects, I'm only 5'11" and I have gotten dangerously close to some things on that ride.

Anyone had issues with flip flops since your feet dangle? I hate to wear tennis shoes because I can't stand them if they get wet but may have to for this ride.

You will probably have to sit on them since you couldn't wear them on the ride...Dragon Challenge is the same way.

I would suggest sitting on your flip flops. I thought I could hold mine with my toes. I'd ridden several times and thought I could do it. The TM didn't say anything to me about taking them off. The ride stopped at one point and I reached over and grabbed them off my feet. I really think I would have lost one if I hadn't had a chance to grab them!!

The other thing is that things seem really, really close. When I'm not wearing shoes all I can think of is gripping my legs to the ride car so nothing touches me!! Just fair warning. Have fun!! :upsidedow

The second time I rode it, I had flip flops on and the lady sitting next to me somehow swung her foot over, bumping the back of mine, and literally kicked my flip flop off. I was gripping my flip flops with my toes, but it still went flying. It was an accident of course. Just the motion of the ride makes your feet swing back and forth. After that though, I sit on mine.

Probably not a good idea to wear your flip flops on any feet dangle ride. You will most likely lose them in the ride. I would just hold them during the ride if you can't store them.

Ahh! Did they replace them?? Or find it for you? That freaks me out.

As far as stuff touching you on the ride, I'm only 5'7!! Now I am all legs.. but still. I'm glad other people felt things. I thought it was all in my head!!
