We'll be in IOA/US May 23-25. We are very excited since this will be our first trip. It will be myself, DH, DS 12, and twin DDs 10. One DD is a huge ride chicken, so we'll be doing child swap on FJ for her, hopefully we can talk her into riding before we leave. I have looked at you tube videos of this ride, and it seems that it loads really fast. I'm worried that my other DD won't be able to get her restraint down by herself; she's pretty tiny: 50 inches and 58 pounds. I really couldn't tell from the video, but just wanted to make sure the TMs help with restraints and check them well. I'm sure they do, but I'm a worrier and just had to make sure from someone who's been on the ride!

The TMs do help with the restraints, check once and a second TM will check again before giving the thumbs-up. She will be fine.

The loading happens on a long continuously-moving belt, much longer than ones you may have seen at Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit at the Studios, Haunted Mansion over at MK, or Nemo at Epcot. Lots of time to ensure everyone is secure.

Thank you so much! She's not afraid at all, totally opposite of her sister. She's mad because she's not tall enough for most of the roller coasters, lol!

If the one DD is not quite tall enough, TMs may give a special certificate to her that acts as an Express Pass for her group when she comes back and is tall enough. We got one for DD at 47.9" our last visit. More a souvenir in my eyes, but might placate your DD a bit.

If you are worried about it, their is actually a 2nd loading area where one of the vehicles can be pulled off the ride track and load in a stationary position. This is used often for guests who have mobility issues, and couldn't wheel a wheelchair onto the conveyor belt, as well as VIP's who don't want to be seen by the public. If you ask the Team Members inside the castle of your situation, they may let you use that station.

I've been it before, it's really cool. You're in another platform, and one vehicle comes up and parks itself, and you can walk right up the vehicle and take your time with your daughter, even pushing the harness down yourself on her, then getting into your seat. When everything's ready, they dispatched you from there and rejoin the ride track. They can even have your vehicle unload on the main platform so you don't have to go back to the stationary platform again.

If for some reason the TM's say no, the conveyor belt loading platform is actually fairly long. They learned from Rockit that they need to make it lengthy. If your vehicle gets cleared right when you sit down (which normally happens) you then still have a good 25-30 seconds of moving sideways until your vehicles leaves.

That's good to hear. I have a shoulder problem which won't prevent me riding but I cannot raise my arms far enough to bring the restraints down or put enough pressure on them to secure them. If I just get on and sit down , the CM's will do the rest then?
