Hey all! Being a Floridian , I'm a seasoned WDW planner and visitor but I find myself having to learn all over again for Paris lol. We will be in Paris next summer and looking to visit DLP. I've found a lot of answers reading the forum but wonder if you guys can help out with a couple..

1- I'm at a loss as to whether you can book just one night. All the different country sites are only coming up for 2 or more nights.

2- is a year out to early for DPL?

3- I know for me, I've always been able to do wdw cheaper without a package. But it looks like DPL might be better with packages. Am I right?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you,

Hello - Welcome! Have a great time planning your trip!

Others will be able to give you more sound information but I think your observations are right. To book one night you may have to go to a site like expedia.co.uk (and usually much closer to the date of travel I think)- to book through Disney, hotels come with park tickets so yes a package is the way to book. You could of course book off site hotels easily for a night. Disney hotels do include breakfast (and many off site ones as well).

Also you can book on any country's DLP website as everything is electronic - no Mickey Mail is sent so I usually scour the websites to see which deal is best. I am from the USA but have booked on the UK site- actually when I checked in my reservation said Ireland. Also there are flash sales offered here and there - others may know when to look for them.

There are some good deals on expedia and hotel.com for stays in the DLP hotels with tickets -I know people have bought them for next year but I don't think as far out as summer 16.

Thank you ! Maybe I will wait a bit. Does DLP seem to sell out like WDW?

When are you looking at coming as high season at DLP is really from the early/mid July to mid August. There are always sales of some kind on and different countries have different offers but can be reserved by all.

It can also be cheaper to stay off site - there are several hotels at Val d'Europe that come with a free shuttle bus and are only a 20 minute walk from the parks. You have offers like the one atm for a 2 park ticket for the price of 1 or you could buy an AP and it would give you reductions on food and souvenirs.

Otherwise you can just come from Paris for the day - the park won't close until 23.00 and you could get a RER back to the city until after 00.00. It's 40 minutes on the RER from Chatelet to DLP.

Hi! Packages for DLP are very different from those in WDW. Mainly cheaper! If you plan to do (almost) only Disney on your stay, then a package is almost always cheaper, because tickets for the days of your stay are always included (unlike WDW). Booking a separate hotel or apartment is probably the more profitable option if, for instance, you go for 6 days, but only spend 2-3 days in the parks.

I think booking a year out is early for DLP, but then again, I booked WDW 2 months in advance last spring :smooth:
