Another FD question re: booking

We're booking on Friday for Sept. and hoping/planning to add FD when it is released. I just read on another thread that I need to book with the dining plan first and then they will adjust it later. Is that accurate - I was planning on just booking room/park tickets Friday then adding FD later. Thanks!

You can book a Magic Your Way package with just room and tickets and have free dining applied later if it is available for your dates and resort.

Thanks for clarifying that. I also read that same post and got alittle confused. But I remembered in 2011 I got free dining and at the time I only book room and fix then called later to add the free dining
