Another Fantasmic Question

I'm sure this has been asked, but I couldn't find the answer.

On the day we arrive at WDW we have an ADR for the Play n' Dine lunch at 1:30. We were considering making another ADR for the Fantasmic package that day at Mama Melrose. However, we are concerned that it will be too much food, especially for our little ones. I was wondering if anyone knows if we can share our adult meals with our children in this case. We plan to pay for this meal OOP.

I think you'd have to pay for everyone in the party to get a Fantasmic pass for them.

When we went for the Fantasmic package our ADR was for before 5pm at H&V and I've read they can be much earlier. I doubt that any of you would be hungry at that point and whatever money you spent there would be a waste of money.

I'd just wait in line for Fantasmic seating. It's your first day so your patience should still be pretty good!...lol

You are required to purchase the meal for all people at the Fantasmic package. I'm 100% sure of this. Also, if you have the package booked and then end up not making it, you get charged a $50 cancellation fee if you fail to cancel less than 24 hours before. That's why I would never book that package on the night of arrival...you never know what might happen.
