Another Fantasmic Dessert question

We were lucky enough to get balcony seating in 2005. At that time if you were staying at a DL hotel you could call in advance and give them your information and what you wanted and they would call and get you the reservation. Does anyone know if they still do this? I know we can't get balcony seating (which was a once in a lifetime opportunity) but it would be nice to have to worry about waiting at the phone for the time to call.

Only if staying on site?? I did the fantasmic dessert twice in the past (years ago) and you did not have to be staying at the resort. Has the policy changed?

If you are not staying on site you can call Disney Dining the moment you are within the reservation window and make the reservation. If you are staying on site, Vacation Planning will make all your reservations for you if you call and ask, and you can put your requests in when you make your room reservation.
