Another entrance to Epcot ??

I am interested to hear more about this other entrance/exit
to Epcot that I keep reading about.
I believe people are calling it the Internation Gateway.

We will be staying at the BC in September..... can we use this ??
Also, what part of Epcot does it go into ??

Anyone know of any maps or pictures ??

There is another entrance/exit that leads to the boardwalk from France in the World Showcase. I think you need a handstamp to enter/exit this way, but I'm not sure.

The International Gateway is located between France and the UK in World Showcase. It has regular entrance/exit turnstiles and a guest relations window. The BC is practically next door to the IG, so it will be very convenient for you to use.

If you are using Disney transportation from any of the Epcot resorts (ie-Friendship Boats) this is the entrance they take you to.
There is no Disney transportation from these resorts to the front entrance.

All you have to do from the Beach Club is go out the back doors, not the main entrance which is where you will find the Disney buses. When you are outside you will see the lake in front of you and the Boardwalk across the lake. Turn left and just keep walking. You can either walk over the bridge or take the lower walkway on the right (much easier since there is no incline). The International Gateway entrance to Epcot is only about a 5 minute walk from the Beach Club.

You can enter through International Gateway with your ticket just like you would at any park entrance. From the Beach Club, you won't go through the Boardwalk to get there. You will just turn left as the previous poster said. It will be a very short walk to the entrance. Probably a shorter walk there than it would take to get to the end of the boat dock.

The IG is great when staying at BC. We are staying at BCV this winter and are excited about how easy it will be to get to the WS from our resort.

Yes!

However, you will only be able to head toward Future World. You'll walk through the England and Canada pavilions, but nothing will be open until the posted opening time for the WS.

Is it hard to find the Beaches and Cream rest. from this exit?

Beaches & Cream is on the side of the resort that faces the sidewalk to go to EPCOT and it has an outside entrance.

However it is behind the pool, so you will probably not see it from the sidewalk. There are a lot of structures by the pool which block it.

Beaches & Cream is situated between the two hotels (Y&B and Beach Club).

If you walk over to the hotel and ask a cast member, they will point you in the right direction.

Hi all,

We stayed at the BCV in Feb 04. This entrance
was so convenient to use. Just an FYI, for people
staying at the BCV you can use the sidewalk that
starts between the BCV building and the BC building
to take a short cut to the walk way that goes to
the IG. It keeps you from having to go into the lobby
to reach the walkway which seamed to save some
time and walking.
