We sold our van a month ago on ebay. It was an older van, lots of miles and didn't sell for very much ($2000). It seems several weeks after it was sold the new owners started having problems with the transmission. Called and asked us, have you had problems with the transmission? We had not and told them so. Well.....these people won't stop calling us AND have started to call at my DH's work (apparently the number was on the listing). Can we kindly tell them that we want them to stop contacting us? They ask the same questions over and over. I "think" they feel we should refund them some money. It's getting annoying and just a little strang.

Did you post on your listing any defects the van may have had, and that the van was being sold as is?

DH and I have sold 2 cars on EBAY and have been very descriptive of any problem it had and made sure to post that the van is being sold as is. I would politely tell the buyer that there is no other way you can help them, but the vehicle was purchased by them and that anything else that comes up with it is thier problem.

Some people purchase things that are obviously used for cheap and expect it to run as though it was brand new.

We were very detailed in our description. The guy even called my DH before purchased and we went through everything. It was a 10 year old van...it has some problems but overall in good condition. My DH even gave the guy a chance to look it over at delivery and turn it down.
