Another DP question...

Fellow DIS-er's, I need your advice to help convince DH that it won't be a problem getting to any TS meals on our days off. Here's our "tenative plan" for our trip in August -
8/26 - arrive - no park
8/27 - day off
8/28 - AK
8/29 - day off
8/30 - Epcot
8/31 - Water Park (still deciding)
9/1 - Studios
9/2 - day off
9/3 - Magic Kingdom
9/4 - day off
9/5 - return home (8:46pm flight)

This is our 15th trip and we always plan for "days off" on our trips. We usually hang in the pool at the resort or DTD. We are not renting a van (6 of us) this time because last year it just sat in the parking lot. DH thinks it will just be a pain in the neck to get everyone to our TS restaurants on our days off but I think it won't be a problem. Our kids are used to Disney transportation, so that won't be an issue. Please tell me what you have experienced. We are staying AS Music this trip (saving money) but our last three trips were BC, Poly & AKL. DH thinks it would be easier if we were staying at one of the deluxe resorts because they have a TS restaurant on site but I promised him we could stay value. ( I know, I must be crazy!).

I'm thinking about O'hana, Boma, Cape May Cafe. What do you think?

We always stay at the All-Stars and have never had a problem getting to our evening reservations. It does take a little planning because you will probably have to take two busses or a bus and the monorail to get there and back. Something we like to do is to take Disney Transportation to our reservation and get a cab back. A cab from Boma to Sports was under 10.00 and a cab from the Poly to Music was under 20.00. The cab company can send a van for you at the same price so that may be something for you to consider.
