Another Disney Visa $200 GC offer question

Sorry if this has been asked to death, but I cannot find an answer anywhere.

We got the offer for Disney Visa and you get $200 Disney Dollars after your first purchase. It was adressed to "The ____ Family ". Not specifically to me or my husband. So, I signed up for one w/ my DH as the primary cardholder. Now, on another thread people were saying that you can have up to 3 cards from Disney visa. Now, here's my question. ( I know, FINALLY ) can I now apply for the card under my name with this offer as well ? ( since it was to our family not a specific member ?) Or is the offer a "one time only" thing ?

I KNOW someone out there is sure to know !! thanks everyone!!

I do not know the answer.. .But you could try going online and putting in the offer code on the application and see if it accepts it... if it does... then apply for the card.

Confirmed - my wife and I both applied and were approved using the same invitation code.

It's a targeted offer, if you don't get the offer you can't sign up for it. I tried calling Chase last year (as others have) and was told that the offer was only for those who received it.

I did eventually see a link here on the DIS about a year ago for a $100 gift card offer which I signed up and so did my sister. She recently received the $200 gift card offer in the mail. I did not.

Honest to God, I don't have a clue. We already have a Disney visa that we got a few years ago w/ the $40 Disney points. ( we thought that was pretty good) We just got this in the mail about 2 weeks ago and I was STUNNED to say the least. It takes us a pretty good while to rack up 200 Disney dollars on the card, so this was really very amazing to me!!!

I keep hoping to get an offer....but NOPE...NOTHING!!! I really wanted to get one for my dd20 for her first card, and one for DH and I to get another card. I guess I will keep waiting

I don't think they let you because it's linked to your last name and your address......

On another thread, a Mother received the offer. Gave PIN to married daughter. Daughter was denied because her last name and address were not the same as on the invite.

I was finally sent an offer to the ***** family, but it is my maiden name. I am thinking of calling and having it correct, if they will. Nothing is easy. I have waited a year for this offer and it comes with my wrong name.

I have got a few of the $200 offers. I don't know if I am going this year so will probably not do it as I am not crazy about Chase.

Still waiting - I assume since I have a Chase Freedom & Chase Marriott, I probably will not receive a pre-approval offer from them for this. Otherwise I would jump on it for our May trip.

I have the Freedom and have still been getting the offers about every 4 - 5 months.

Does anyone know when these targeted offers will cease to be mailed? I am waiting on applying hoping to get the $200 offer.

Is there an expiration date on the mailings that anyone has received?
