Another Disney Kid is born!

This grandma just witnessed the birth of her fifth grandchild, second grandson. What a miracle! Now we have another grandchild to introduce to the "World of Mickey." As a matter of fact a trip was already planned for next March. How many babies are born with a trip to WDW already planned for them? Probably only those with DVC point connections! Think he's now ready for his first commercial- "Ian Thomas, you are one day old. What are you planning next?" "In March I'm going to Disney World!"
Sign me a proud grandma!

Wow! Let me be the first to congratulate you!!! I, too, am a grandmother who plans WDW trips with grandchildren. I have a total of 7 grandkids, counting 3 step grandkids. Aren't they wonderful???? And aren't we grandparents lucky???

Congratulations! What a wonderful thing for Ian to have a trip already planned for him and so soon after the big coming out party.

On the reverse side, I had a surprise addition to my family cause the cancellation of a planned trip. My wife would have been a little over the eight month mark on a planned two week Christmas holiday. Too much walking and too much stress with the other young ones for my wife to consider it. Of course, we rescheduled after the happy day.

I wish you many years of great memories. May all of your family's dreams come true.

DW and I do not have any grandkids at this point...or in the near fututre..LOL. We do though keeep going to WDW so when we do get a small one we will be ready and know how to spoil them....

Congratulations! Ian Thomas is a lucky baby to have grandparents who are DVC members. We have 5 grandsons and number 6 is due in January. All but grandson #1 have been to WDW/Disneyland "in utero" (sp?). Also, grandson #4 is named Thomas.

Our son is actually a souvenir from our first trip to the Boardwalk in 1997. He is the reason we finally decided to join the DVC. After a couple of tours, once in 1995 once in 2000 and then in September 2002 while staying at the Boardwalk we decided to take the plunge. We bought at the Beach Club because at the time we didn't know about resales. Our first official trip home this past May, we knew the Boardwalk was back selling points and we couldn't resist an add-on to compliment that spectacular memory.

Sorry to reminiscence - Congratulations again I know the little one will enjoy Disney for years to come.

Thanks to everyone for their good wishes! Thanks to DVC, Ian's two sisters, four and six, have already been to WDW four times, along with their two cousins (and parents). Our children don't live close to each other so our yearly trip is always a reunion of sorts. We all look forward to it! I can't think of a better legacy for my grandchildren than a yearly trip to WDW. The best part is that "Papa and Nana" can enjoy it with them for, hopefully, many years to come.

Our one and only grandson, Noah, is 26 months old and has already visited WDW three times! Our next trip to OKW begins Tuesday…this will be his fourth!

There is nothing like going to WDW with a child!

Congratulations we have 3 in our house and our son was born with his first trip allready planned for this Dec. Kids are great aren't they and hey when you start taking them at this age it is easy to brain wash I mean teach them the great love of the mouse hehehe.
