Another Disney Bus question

How do you get from park to park? For example if you were at MGM and wanted to go to MK. Do busses run directly between the parks or do you have to go to the Transportation center?

There are no busses that go park to park. Between MK and Epcot there is the monorail. Between Epcot and MGM there are boats or you can walk.

Otherwise, the easiest way(that we have found) is to hop the first resort bus that shows up and once at that resort, get in line for the bus to the next park you wish to go to.

Not true. There are busses from AK to MGM, Epcot and TTC, and vice versa. Boat service or walk between MGM and Epcot. MK to Epcot, monorail via TTC.
MGM or AK to MK, busses to TTC. Another option for MGM to MK is walk to any of the Epcot resorts and bus from there.

Yes there are busses from park to park. Why would WDW sell park hopper passes if you couldn't hop.

Along with what the previous poster said, there is also a bus between Epcot and MGM.

The only hasstle going between MK and the other parks is that the drop off/pick up point is the TTC. In other words, if you are at MK, you need to get to the TTC to get to any other park - Epcot(by monorail), AK and MGM (by bus).

I stand corrected (I think?!?) When we were there in May we were told that there were no direct busses from park to park such as AK to MGM that we would have to take bus to TTC then transfer or just hop the first resort bus that comes along and do it that way, that always worked out pretty quickly for us. I don't consider having to make my way to TTC then change get a bus park to park transportation. It may be the closest thing they have but it certainly isn't a very direct option!

Yes there are indeed buses that run park to park. Back in January, my 2 DS's went from Epcot to AK, from AK to MGM, then from MGM back to Epcot. All were on direct buses. Hope this helps.

Okay so I spent 6 days doing it the hardway because 4 different CM's told us wrong. Oy! Okay, well at least I will be better informed next time I guess. That truly irks me though

There is also a bus from MGM to Epcot - I know I took it -- not long ago - normally we do the walk but it was starting to sprinkle and we were going to Future World.

Unfortunately we know now that we should never trust anyone who doesn't wear purple pants.
