Another Destin, Florida question

Summer is just a hard time to get away for a vacation of more than 2 - 3 days. Has anyone been to Destin at other times of the year? What's it like in March or maybe November? Would you go at those times?

I'm quite familiar with Destin and have to say that those are great times to visit.

Two years ago we went the first week in April (Easter). Holy cow, this was our first time to the Panhandle. We loved it, but it was busssssy in Destin.

Bumper to bumper travel thru the town. Water was a little cool for swimming, but air temps were in the 70's and humidity low.

We plan to go back probably in the summer cuz dd wants "bath water" for swimming. I would go back in a hearbeat any time of the year tho. I bet Oct/Nov would be awesome. Warm temps and low crowds.

So, how is Destin in the summer?

I don't know, I've never been. But I have many friends who love going there in the summer.
