Another DDE Card Question

I did a search, but did not find question I need an answer for. Here is my situation. I have a mother in law that is a Florida (Orlando) Resident. I wanted to send her the money to purchase a DDE card. We will be taking a trip in January and when we go to the Disney she joins us for the entire trip (everything except sleeping in the room). I wanted to be able to order the card so she could use it when she wants to with her friends, but also when we go in January. Here is the problem we pay for all the meals and we would be using a credit card. Would we be able to pay with our credit card while using her DDE card (as I stated before she would be with us)?

My understanding is that the credit card needs to match the DDE card which is why you can get an add'l card in spouses name at no add'l charge.

Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.

My understanding is that FL residents can order the card themselves and do not have to be AP holders. Someone correct me if I am incorrect.

I purchased the DDE card for our trip on Oct 1st. We were told that the passholder needs to be there to use the card. Anyone can pay for the meal as long as the Ap holder is there.

She just has to be present at the time of the dinner to show her ID.
