Well, it's another chilly day in the MK! And we got another late start, headed out about 11:30 again. For those of you just joining, it's me (46) and DS (19) on another magical feeding frenzy.
Lunch - thought about Kona, but DS didn't see anything on the menu he wanted, and opted for the Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary Hotel. I ordered the french onion soup and seared scallops. The soup was hot, had a huge piece of french bread floating inside of the bowl covered with melted cheese. It was fantastic. I also had the seared scallops on a bed of mixed greens - I was a little nervous about the dressing - it actually had chopped andouille sausage in it, but the sweet sour aspect of it with the sausage was fantastic. Loved it all, a definite A.
DS, broke out of the club sandwich mold, and ordered a cheeseburger - had no complaints, said it was very good as well. Since he had just gotten out of bed, he wasn't in food critic mode at that point.

Dinner - had planned another big dinner, but after the past couple of dinners, we just couldn't do it. Instead we decided to go for junk food - headed over to ESPN before going in to EPCOT - DS decided on the hot wings, and I had the macho nachos. Of course, we just split it all. I also had a couple of frozen strawberry margaritas (naturally, what else goes so well with nachos?)
We actually sent the first plate of nachos back - there was just a skimpy amount of cheese crusted on a couple of nachos, and tons of empty nachos on the rest of the plate. The next batch came out loaded with cheese, sour cream, and pico de gallo. They were great, enjoyed the binge.

Had to get a funnel cake and coffee before Illuminations (it was really cold, and just had to have something with the coffee!) Besides, DS dragged me to Norway so many times to look at the sweaters (ha ha), (those girls are really pretty!) I needed extra carbs!

Great reviews ~ Thanx for sharing.
