Another Crocs fit question - sorry...

Tried on a couple different colours/sizes of Beach Crocs last night - not sure if they are fitting right...I have lots of space around my foot - nothing touches - except right where the strap meets the clog part - by the little tab with the croc pic - is that right or will it cause me problems?

I'm pretty sure that is the way they are supposed to fit. I read the tag that came on my Beach Crocs and it said the ends of your toes and the sides of your feet should not touch the shoe. This reduces pressure points on your foot. It also said to stretch the strap if it fits tightly on your heel. Just make sure you don't pull from where the strap attaches to the shoe because it will weaken the connection. I streched my straps and now they barely touch my heel. The shoe will sort of mold to your foot over time and this helps keep it in place on your foot. I have narrow feet but I never have trouble keeping them on. I am 8 mths pregnant and these are my favorite shoes right now. :)

I think they stay on because of the "rubbery" part touching the bottom of my foot. Hard to explain, but they do stay on, and I do not use the strap behing my foot. My feet are average width and they do seem to be swimming in the shoes. My teenaged girls don't like the way they fit, but I do. Not sure if I would were them at WDW though, my feet do get hot in them. I prefer socks and tennis shoes for long, hot days of walking.

I tried a pair of Crocs on for the first time yesterday and I know what you are talking about with the part of the shoe where the ends of the straps meet the clog part. My feet are pretty normal, maybe tending to a bit wide, and that part seemed like it would start to cause a blister or something. I hope someone more experienced with Crocs can answer your question, because I have the EXACT same question. Will this spot start to be uncomfortable or develop blisters? I tried the Beach on too. Do all styles fit the same - will the Cayman have the same touching issue?

I thought maybe I was the only one - I don't mind that it touches there at all, but I could definitely see where it may rub enough to cause a blister - I hope not - I really want a pair! Anyone...

Yes, I would think that could cause a blister. Where did you try them on? Maybe someone in the shoe dept could suggest another type. Have you tried emailing someone at crocs.com? You may also try moving up a size but if the other parts of the shoe don't touch the rest of your foot, it sounds like they are fitting correctly everywhere else so not sure if that would make them too big. I know some people do buy a size larger than they normally wear though. Also, the similar Caymans are supposedly a "sleek and slender" version of the Beach so that may make the problem worse. Sorry I couldn't help you out and that you're having this problem. Good luck!

I was trying several pairs of Crocs on this afternoon. The Beach, the Nile and the Athens. The sales lady told me that when you put the Beach croc on and walk around, as long as the strap in the back is not sliding down to your ankle the fit is good. You are suppose to have that extra room. The Athens style tends to fit a little more to your foot, even though it's more of a flip flop style. Therefore, most people tend to go down one size from their normal size in the Athens.

The crocs site says not to go down...I bought 3 pairs of Athens at dillards...then I returned the 2 that I didn't wear and got the bigger size...I normally wear an 8.5....but returned the 8's for 9's...the fit is much more comfortable bc you don't rub against the back.

My problem is not the strap. It's the toe. I find that even in the size 9, the ends of my toes are touching the front of the shoe. The rest seems okay and if I went up to a 10 I can't imagine how big they would be.

Also, when I tried them on yesterday (in the light blue) my friends said I looked like a Teletubbie! Guess who didn't buy them?
