Another child swap question

We are going to WDW with my inlaws and our 3 small children. My question is can my inlaws ride the attraction then take our children out the exit while we ride? I'm guessing the answer is yes, but I just want to verify it.

Not on every ride. On some rides such as Space Mountain the person with the child is given a fast pass while the other parent stands in the regular ride.

The best thing to do is ask the CM at the entrance of every ride you will be using the fast pass, how their child swap works.

Ditto - every ride is different !! Ask a CM !

We just did SM and while I took 2 kids on the ride, DH and other child were taken to another location to wait where we got off the ride. He then had to go back to the boarding location.

Some rides you get off in a different place than they load, so they have different processes for doing it. FP has changed the processes too !
