Another Candlelight Processional Question

We had all but decided NOT to go the Candlelight Processional, because of our 3 year old. We watched it from outside last year. If we buy the package, how long is the wait to get in? Also if I had to leave with the toddler, would that be possible? DH could stay with the older kids. (I would hate for our youngest to disturb anyone during the concert--but want him to have fun, too!) Is it doable? Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks!:goodvibes

We went last year with 4 kids, 15 yr, 14 yr, 12 yrs and 3 yrs. We did the package and when we arrived we walked right in. We were a little late and everyone was already in. But we still ended up in the front row !

Our 3 yr old got up and walked between Dh and I but otherwise she watched. They musicians were literally right in front of us so it held her attention.

We enjoyed it and would do it again. It is very loud up front though.

You can leave with your baby and leave the rest... I cannot see that being a problem at all... As for the line to get in, when we went the line was very short and we got a really great seat only about 15 minutes before the show began...However, I have read that sometimes the line even for the package can be very long... I am sure it depends on the night of the week and how close to the holiday it is...We went in the middle of the week, the first week of December and had no problem getting in and we did leave early because the baby started to act up.

You can definitely leave early if your child is making a fuss. Everyone else can stay where they are.

One suggestion. If you do have to leave early, already have a meeting spot picked out for after the show. But not right outside the theatre since (and you know), people will watch the show standing out there and then after the show, it'll be crowded with people leaving. I'd pick a place in either Japan or Italy so you can meet up outside of the American pavilion all together.
