I want to buy a hard drive camcorder to take when I go to WDW, but my problem is that I don't have a laptop to download the video to every night and I am afraid I will use up all of the memory space before i get home. The camera I was looking at only holds 7 hours and I am afraid that will not be enough. My question is is there a hard drive camcorder that uses memory cards? :confused3 That way I could buy memory cards instead of downloading.

Have a look at the Canon FS10, FS11, or FS100.

I am gettting one for our upcoming trip, it has fairly good reviews.

The Canon FS10 has 8GB built in storage and then you can record onto an SD card for more footage.

The Canon FS11 has 16GB of built in storage and then, once again, has the ability to record more footage onto an SD card.

The FS100 however has no built in storage but is able to record onto SD cards.

Good luck and I hope this helped you!

The Sony EX1 writes to SxS memory cards. It's an awesome camcorder, but a bit bulky for WDW.
