I went to a wedding of a HUGE Alabama fan. Not only was everything crimson, the recessional was the Alabama fight song. I don't think my eyes could have rolled any harder.

Why? If it's what they like, why the ? It's just a theme based on something the couple holds near and dear. I'd hate to think people were rolling their eyes at my theme.

Personally, if it's a small informal wedding, I think the green/yellow request is cute. But DH and I look good in green and Russ looks good in yellow.

Okay not to start a debate here but unless you are a Packer fan it is just hard to "get" those of us who are! Many of us have been born with our names on waiting lists to get tickets to home games. Vince Lombardi was always spoken about like he was your own family, like a great uncle. When I had my child the Pack was in the SuperBowl and I knew better then to even try and ring for a nurse.

So needless to say a little green & gold (yes more of a gold then an all out yellow) at a wedding is really not a big deal. Now if they have brats and a 1/2 barrel then you will really know you are in Wisconsin.

It wasn't that big of a thing. It's just I thought the fight song was a little over the top.
