I'm debating on our last day's meal. I have Chef Mickey's 'scheduled' because we're staying at the CR, BUT I keep hearing about Boma. I'm a super picky eater, and I'm not sure I'd do well there.

So give me some positive/negative feedback on either buffet. Characters aren't a super big deal one way or another. Thanks!

Boma is indeed often, even my now 8yo nephew who loved Chef Mickey's considers Boma breakfast to be "awesome".

That said I'd probably keep it simple on the final day and stay at CR. However, if there is anyway you can book Boma another morning, it would be time well spent.

has plenty of regular breakfast food. There are some African inspired dishes and I would recommend trying them in small amounts to see whether you like them. The juices are especially good.

As mentioned by the PP this will take some time. CR and AKL are in opposite corners of WDW and the bus ride will be a bit long each way. It's not bad if you have a car. That being said CR is one of the easier places for resort to resort transportation with the MK just a short walk away.

I have been to CM more often than Boma but prefer Boma by far.

Boma for breafast is not very exotic - it is full of "normal" foods. We ate there when I was a pretty picky eater and I found plenty. I love the goat cheese & chive scrambled eggs - they're fantastic.

But if you want to stick closer I'd do the Grand Floridian Cafe or Kona Cafe for breakfast - both are our favorites. If you like French toast the Grand Floridian Cafe has a Maple Vanilla French Toast which is possibly my favorite single thing in all of WDW to eat.

Yes, the goat cheese and chive eggs were awesome, as was the banana bread and chocolate croissant things.

My family really enjoyed our morning at AKL, we ate in Boma then walked around the lodge looking at the animals and such then boarded a bus to Epcot.

Huh, maybe I could try Boma then. Although that French Toast sounds amazing-and I'm not even a huge fan of french toast!
