Half of our family is taking an impromptu vacation for Spring Break and we hope to have a whole family vacation this fall. I have been reading about the bounceback. Can you tell me more about this? Do you have to book the same resort that you are staying in for the first trip? Also, is it a discount off tickets, the room, or dining?
Thank you for the info!:upsidedow

They have different offers. The ones we have booked were free dining. Some others have been for a percentage off the room. I don't think you have to stay at the same resort. We did though.

Nope- you can use it for the class of hotel specified. If you stay in a value it is usually good for value or moderate. If you stay in a moderate it is usually good for a moderate or deluxe. I have not always had a bounceback in my room, they run them at different locations at different times according to the CM I asked when I get my first one in my room. I have never gotten one in a deluxe before. I am staying in a moderate in September and hoping for a bounceback to do a deluxe in Jan 2010.

Also... call the front desk if you don't see a flyer, it might have been tossed and ask if they have a bounceback. You have to reserve your room before your last day at the resort.

Good Luck!

You can book any level of resort. I have booked a bouceback reservation for a moderate resort while staying in a value resort and a value resort while staying in a moderate resort.

Sometimes the flyer is tailored to level you are currently staying at but in the end you can book anywhere. Just tell the agent where you want to stay.

Is there a bounceback offer right now? We are going down in April and hoping there will be a bounceback offer for next year!

I called Disney today and told CM would be arriving on March 22nd and wanted to book a second trip for later in the year and were there any deals available. He said "not that he was aware of." I know there are many disers who have received the bounceback who visited just the last few weeks. Are they just not supposed to say or did I get an uninformed CM?:confused3

You cant book it unless youre on property. Why would they tell you? Besides it could change by the time you get there. Also you wont be able to book the BB for next year probably until around august/september
