From what I gather breakfast is pretty good here but what about dinner? We are staying at POR and was wondering just how good dinner would be at Boatwrights? We really are not breakfast people so would like to hear from anyone who has ate here. Thanks

We ate there the first week in Sept and found the food to be good. Service was good and we enjoyed the quietness of the restaurant. I won't place it up there with LeCellier, but that is comparing apples to oranges. It is a good place to eat and I think you will enjoy it. :flower:

We were there on 9/25 and found the food to be good. Nothing spectacular though. I had the French onion soup and sirloin steak. DH had the house salad and Jambalaya. The best part of the meal was the dessert. I had the Milky Way cheesecake and DH had the pecan pie. We got both to go as we were stuffed from our dinner.

I agree that the food is "good". It's kind of homey comfort food. It is not signature dining.
