Personally, I haven't eaten at the Blue Bayou yet. I have one sister who went and thought it was so dark she couldn't even read her menu. She thought the food was not very good. I have a sister-in-law who absolutely loves it -- the food and the atmosphere. So I guess it is just one of those things that you have to try for yourself. A lot of people just went for the Monte Cristo at lunch, and they now serve that at Cafe Orleans and the other entrees there aren't as expensive.
I think it would be fun to go to Blue Bayou at least once . . . but I'm in no rush to take our 3 young girls there (they don't eat much of their meals!).
Have fun
