Hi all! We just stayed at BCV in studio 243 last month and were in a room a good distance down the hall and away from the elevators. We are taking elderly family and staying in a dedicated two bedroom next month. I put in a request with member services for low floor close to elevator. Now I’m regretting that after reading people saying the elevator is loud and bothering to some. I know this would really ruin my husband‘s trip as he hears EVERYTHING🙄.
I’d really like a pool view but my main concern is not being at the ends of the halls as it appears some of the dedicated 2bedrooms are. Any suggestions? Should I ask for even numbers? Without fireworks I don’t think a Epcot “view” is necessary. Thanks!!

Thank you for the map! I think I might want to take off low floor as I don’t really want to be on the first floor!! That would be my luck to get the one dedicated 2bd right next to elevator!! Lol

Good idea, the 1st floor can have more noise as many walk thru to the parking lot and pool. Have a great trip.

Thanks BillPA! I chatted with MS and they took off my low floor request and put "not on first floor and Pool View if possible. Thanks again!

Good move. I was in 259 and it felt like forever to get anywhere. AKV halls are pretty brutal as well.

HMM???? 259 is right in front of the second elevator. I would have loved that spots long as I couldn't hear it. Are you talking BCV?

Yes it was. I was talking about the long walks. It was great with the stairs and elevator, but the lobby and pool was just far away. We actually got lucky in Dec and room was ready before 8a.

And those hallways look all the same!! I'm actually hoping to be where you were because I prefer that elevator because we would just walk through the pool to the main lobby and Marketplace. Also it took me a bit but I finally realized how to get to the buses quickly. Our room was 243 so we were down the offshoot and every hallway looked the same so I felt a bit confused at first! But all In all it was a great place to stay so we want to bring others in our family back there. Wow you were lucky to get a room. Did you go up to guest services or did you simply wait for a text from online checkin? we checked we would take first available but it didn't seem to matter. I think we got our room ready text at 4:02! LOL

Yes it was a bit confusing to navigate at first. We were literally in line for rope drop at HS and got the text. So we just hit all the top rides then took boat back to BCV and checked in around 10.

We were in 329 a few years ago, pretty close to the elevators and didn't hear any elevator noise We've also been in 305, and that was fine Any 2 BRs in those areas?

It is only 1BR's and studios that are next to the elevators so I think your original requests were probably just fine. Or at least leave the request as close to the elevator. It might be the one by the pool though instead of the one by the lobby.

The room in which I could hear the elevator was a Handicapped Accessible studio. It was room 325. (No, I did not request a Handicapped Accessible room. I actually made a request which should have put me far away from this handicapped accessible studio, but unfortunately I did not get my request.)
