Another banking question

We are planning on buying into DVC on our next trip to WDW in Dec. We plan on buying 150 pts now, but I'm pretty sure that we won't be able to use all of them every year (we just wanted some extra just in case). My question is, if we bank those extra points every year, are they considered part of the following UY's points or do they expire at some point? TIA

Any points you bank will expire at the end ofthe use year you banked them into if they are not used by then.
Lets say you have an October use year and you bank this years points, the ones you will recieve on Oct. 1 2006, into next year...those points must be used for a stay sometime between Oct. 1 2007 - Sept. 30 2008, if they aren't they will expire on Sept. 30 2008. You will not be able to bank them again, you can only bank points once.
