2 complainers VS thousands of happy guests. The fort actually makes sure the decorators get their sites every year so kinda doubt it's a problem to them. Sorry, but you lose.

And did you consider how much these decorators spend in time and money to give you a great FW experience? We spent a week across from 734. I can tell you Hilda spent days on her display. Spent hours and hours talking to other guests who dropped by to admire it ... it's a labor of love!

This thread was started as a JOKE! We know the people in the 1600 loop and they knew it was a joke. Every night most people turn off their decorations so we thought it would be funny to make a joke about it. We feel it is a shame that some people take life too seriously.

Did I miss something?? I love the decorations, the trick or treating, cart parades, everything campers do contributes to making the fort more magical than any hotel room. Don't know where you read a complaint from me...

I think I was misunderstood. I was saying a poster was complaining on this thread and JohnVN had a complaint a couple weeks ago so that's the 2. The main reason we stay Thanksgiving every year is to see the decorations. You will never hear a complaint from me about decorations. To me that's what makes the fort what it is. Sorry you thought I attacked you.

That's what I thought. Glad to know it wasn't only me who was amused then. For a few minutes there I thought I'd misunderstood. Thanks for the pics. We enjoyed them at our house enough to wonder if there was room for an inflatable wonderland in the back of the van for our next trip down. DD thought perhaps we could convince Kenny to add them as a GC rental option like the strings of lights we bought to take along... giant hood ornaments anyone?
