firstly thank you to everyone for all the advice we got before we went away, we had an amazing 2 weeks at SSR and got home bank holiday Monday

I will start with our lows (there are so few)

Lows:

My DH got an ear infection, but we made a trip to the health clinic at Walgeens - it was $89 but well worth it and was impressed with the service and got a prescription for antibiotic ear drops :-)

BBB - my 7 year old DD loved this again, we went to the one in world of Disney, only a low because my DD was disappointed it had fallen out by the end of the day - 2 years ago she went on test track and after sleeping on it it was still exactly the same the next morning!!

Standing in the heat in the fastpass queue for festival of the lion king all getting into seats to be told it was cancelled!! I understand these things happen, but the first CM we spoke to was so unhelpful - basically tough it's cancelled you lose fastpass , with 2 hours till the next fastpass this was really unhelpful!! Luckily a trip to guest services meant we were able to bring fastpass forward and it didn't affect our day!!

Highs:

Our building at SSR - we were in a 2 bed villa at SSR, it was right next to the bus stop and the Pool so was perfect - it's only a 5 minute walk to the artists pallete and we really like the walks to DTD, so handy and this really puts me off staying somewhere else

Be our guest - we went for lunch, breakfast and then dinner. The dinner was our favourite and we were lucky enough to sit in every room, my eldest DD was desperate to sit in the West Wing so we were all pleased when we went for dinner and were sat right next to the rose :-)

Weather - this was much more manageable than I was expecting, we all coped much better than I thought we would and enjoyed the sun - there were only 2 days that the rain changed our plans slightly

Early breakfasts before park opening and the rides before the crowds come - we did 4 breakfasts before park opening and achieved so much, expedition Everest 3 times by 9.20 was good and one the family loved!!

We had some amazing character interaction and my girls enjoyed collecting autographs

We are hoping to return in 2017 - time to save, we have booked DLP for March which then only leaves one month to be able to book in April for 2017 :-)

april 2016 is totally near , we are counting down to it also .

wow u must have really enjoyed BOG:love:

we really liked BOG too, had lunch there twice, 2nd time seated in the West Wing, which was much quieter and more atmospheric than the ballroom (although we sat near the snowing windows there first time which was cool).

Wow, it sounds like a great trip. It's not long to wait until April to book your next trip.

Glad you had a good time!
Have loved reading all the reports from the summer holiday crew, makes December feel a little bit nearer - under the 100 day mark now!
2017 will be here in no time and a trip to DLP in between means constant Disney planning - perfect!
