So I am going to attempt this again (First time wasn't so good). It will be very short with lots of pictures. Please feel free to ask any questions.

Cast:

Me, Christine
DH, Joey
Our 3rd Disney Cruise

We surprised our friends.

A Brief Summary:

We had a good time but I wasn't really that crazy with the ports. Mexico is just not as nice as the Caribbean. Cabo was the nicest and the only place I would ever consider going back to.

The weather was crazy. First day at sea was nice but a little cool, Cabo was perfect, Mazatlan and PV was very hot and humid and the adult pool was 86 degree so you could even cool off, second day at sea was freezing and windy so we really couldn't lay out by the pool and our last day at sea was nice but overcast and then very foggy. The seas were very calm. The highest waves were 4 feet but most of the time we had .5 wavelets.

Cruise staff was great as usual, Brent was our Cruise Director (I've decided I want him to be my alarm clock in the morning).

Food was a little better than in November, wasn't that crazy with the new menus, but I'm a picky eater so that doesn't say much. I pretty much had some type of beef every night.

Soul Drive was the act in Rockin Bar D and they were very good. Trent wasn't there. David was the Head of the Cruise Staff and he was great. We did participate in my favorite thing to do on the ship (Magic Quest) and yes I am the one who took off my Bra and yes my DH is the one who wore it (yes I do have pictures )

Cabo we just went to the ME Cabo Hotel which was amazing. We took a cab there and just walked in and got a bed on the beach. They didn't charge us anything (we even asked) they just suggested we buy something from their bar. I got two Chi Chi's which were amazing, DH got a steak sandwich. The total price including a cab back was $60, Disney was charging $85 a person for the same place (Nikki Beach). We didn't go in the water because it was freezing.

Mazatlan was gross and dirty we took a cab to Senor Frog (which was closed at the time). The driver told us he would drop us off in the Golden Zone and we could just walk back when it opened...no way. It was too far of a walk and I didn't feel safe at all. We just asked him to take us back to the ship.

PV we did the zip line which was really cool but a lot of work. It was an hour drive in an open air vehicle (which was scarier than the zip line). When you Zip Line you have to keep one hand on the line to slow yourself down, yeah the first two didn't really work so good for me I felt like my arm was going to be ripped off so I came in full speed and got yelled at. I paid so much attention to making sure I did it right I wasn't scared at all. The last line is straight down off the platform that was pretty scary and we didn't think we could do it but we did and then the walk back. Yeah, they didn't tell you you have to walk almost a mile back up hill with 20 lbs of equipment on. I truly thought I was going to die. I'm glad I did it but will never do it again.

Only one negative

1. They really weren't watching the adult areas so there was a lot of kids running around and in the Cove Cafe. We did say something but nothing was done.

Here are a bunch of pictures from the first day:

Once you check in you could go outside and get really close to the ship (and also buy lotto tickets:thumbsup2):

Formal Night

My friend's daughter had the best night of her life. She wore her prom dress which pretty much makes her look like Cinderella. A few little girls asked if she was a princess and some even wanted their picture taken with her, Rico was more than happy to take his picture with her too, A man walked up to her and told her she won for best dressed and when we walking into Lumiers everyone clapped and she was escorted to her table. It was really fun to watch.

We had to tender into Cabo but it was really easy. They had smaller boats they took everyone with an excusion on and then bigger ones for people without excusions. We waited about 20 min since we didn't have anything booked. The port has a bunch of shops and a bunch of people trying to get you to go on tours and buy timeshares. The taxis were in an "alley" which I wasn't too happy about, we used the first person who offered which was a pedi-cab it was well worth the $15 because you really couldn't walk to the Medano beach area even though they say you can.

I didn't bring my good camera to the beach so sorry if the quality isn't too good on these:

Day 5 - Puerto Vallarta

We did the Canopy Tour (Zip Line) now DH and I are not really the outdoorsy adventurous kind of people so this was really different for us but we had fun. I am glad I did it but don't think I will ever do it again.

The boat they used to take us to the truck (there were 14 of us on this:scared:):

We weren't allowed to bring our cameras so I don't have too many pictures of the zip line. There is a photographer with you the whole time but by the time we were done the last thing I wanted to do was to pick out pictures.

Day 5 con't - PV/Pirate Night

The PV port was very clean and pretty. It didn't have the typical people hounding you to take a tour or buy something just a few Gov't controlled taxis. There wasn't even a shop to buy souvenirs. However, there was a Wal Mart and Sam's Club right across the street:rotfl2:

I love pirate night. The whole ship got really into it. I didn't see as many full costumes as in Nov but mostly everyone had something with pirates on it.

I have never seen the pirate party so crowded. There were people waiting at 8pm for the 9:45 show:eek:

We actually stayed up and watched pirates outside for a little while...well most of us did

Day 6 - Day at Sea

We finally ate breakfast at Lumiers...it was so much better than the buffet but it took a lot more time.

Next we went to see Stageworks. We were hoping to get back stage but all you do it sit in the theater and they have techs explain what goes on. It was pretty interesting.

I love this dress
DSC01022.jpg

This was the day that it was way to cold to lay by the pool but we tried. The high was 69.

DSC01024.jpg

However my friend's son had no problem hanging out in the hot tub (he's the blond in the middle):
DSC01030.jpg

We just hung out around the ship and even played a little golf:

Tonight was dinner at Palo's and we was amazing as usual:

We really didn't have much planned for today. We had breakfast at Topsiders (gosh they really do have the worst eggs). Than we did some Origami Flowers, that was supposed to be adults but they let screaming kids participate so we didn't stay too long. Even though it was really foggy out it was warmer than the day before so we spent some time at the pool.

The sun did try to burn through the fog:

DSC01059.jpg

People seemed to be freaked out by the fog but I loved it...it was so cool to not be able to see the water and even 5 ft in front of you.

We kept waiting for the Black Pearl to show up:scared1:

Finally on the last night I got a Mickey Bar:
DSC01070-1.jpg

It was weird, we usually get lots of room service but since our room was so small and there was no balcony we only got it once on the last day.

DSC01072-1.jpg

Day 8 - Disembarkation:worried:

Unlike Port Canaveral you can't just get off the ship when you want. You had to go to breakfast to get you disembarkation sticker. We had the lastest seating so we didn't go to breakfast until 8:45. I was able to walk around the ship and get a few more pictures:

They has told us if we really wanted to get off the ship earlier than our scheduled time we could but that our luggage wouldn't be there and that was true. We were some of the last people off the ship and they were still putting luggage out. Also the porters can't bring your luggage to your car they only bring it to the curb so we just got our own.

Enjoyed your pictures - especially the fog. We were also on the June 15th cruise and my fog pictures didn't turn out that great. We had a great time, but it wasn't the Caribbean. We saw your bra - we were Team 11! :rotfl2: My brother-in-law is barely showing in your picture wearing his wife's bra. Team 11 won, who knows how????

Oh you're team 11...you guys so did not deserve to win:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Wasn't that so much fun?

Loved the pictures!
We noticed the last time we cruised (May 07) that kids were inundating the adult areas as well. I pointedly put that on the comment sheet and did receive a reply back from Disney higher ups...but I see it had no overall effect. :(

I put it on my comment card too, we'll see if they do anything. In Nov 07 they were very good at policing the areas but it just seemed like no one cared this time.

Wow -- your pictures are some of the best I've ever seen here! Awesome!

Where did you get your gorgeous royal blue gown, if I may ask? I am supposed to go shopping w/my best friend (also cruising with us) soon and was thinking of trying David's Bridal, but I LOVE your dress. You're just about the same build as me, too... that's why I was asking. You looked beautiful!

Well thank you very much:cutie: . I got it at Dillards on sale about 2 weeks ago so they still might have some left. I am very short so I had to wear 5 inch heels since there was no time to get it altered.
