OK, Say we decide to talk a 7 day trip in April. And before we leave we decide to also do a trip in Oct. for F&W. If I upgrade to an AP during the April trip. How many days would I have to go for in Oct. to make the upgrade cost efficient?

Anything over 10-11 days within one year can make an AP worthwhile.
Since there are no longer any "Non-Expiring" tickets, buying separate tickets for multiple trips can become very expensive.
And, if you factor in the AP "perks" (discounts, etc.,) the AP can pay even better.
Check the difference in price between an AP and the total of a 7-day ticket plus a second ticket for however many days you plan to use on your second trip. That will give you an idea. Also, don't forget to factor in any possible resort discounts you may get with an AP.
Thanks Robo! You da man!
One more question? We are going for 5 days in March 2016. This will be with my daughters dance company. Would I be able to do an upgrade to an AP with these tickets since they are "special tickets" from Disney?
