Another AP and Photopass questions

I'm thinking the answer is no but I figured I would ask, I'm going to MVMCP on Nov. 15 and I'm using a park hopper ticket on Nov. 16 that I will be upgrading to an AP on Nov. 16. If at the party on Nov. 16, I get a photo pass card with the pictures we take on it and add them to my account on Nov. 16 will I be able to download the photos as part of my AP photo pass downloads?

Or in the alternative, would I be smarter to just use the ticket on the 15th, even though we don't plan on being in a park till MVMCP and then upgrading the ticket before the party to that we can download the MVMCP photos with the AP downloads. If I do that, will I lose my last day of FP+ that I already made? I don't want to lose those as our last day is when I have 7dmt and a MSEP FP+ which I know I will not have an easy time getting back.

Unless you are planning the activation date of your AP specifically to allow for it to be the last day of a trip next year, I see no harm in activating it before the party.

My concern is if I us my park hopper first and then upgrade, I will lose my last day of Fps…however if I upgrade before using my park hopper first then I will only get the discounted price subtracted from AP price (I'm actually not sure if my tickets are discounted or not since we bought them as part of a package for free dining)

I believe, your fastpasses would be fine because you can book them for any of your days...it does not have to start on day 1...does that make sense or am I totally off topic.

I mean, we are going to be there for 14 nights, we have 10 days hoppers. I booked the 10 days of FP+ for the last 10 days of our trip. We plan to upgrade to annual passes the first day we arrive. At that time, I can attempt to fill in my first 4 days with FP+ is they are available.

Does that make sense...it does in my head???

Your FP+ selections should be unaffected by the upgrade.

Package tickets are discounted, so you would want to use them first.

Last week I upgraded my six day ticket to a gold pass on our third day. All of our photos from the first few days were still there and were available for download. I was even able to get pictures of others in my party when I was not with them since we are linked in MDE.

And you are able to download those "pictures of others in my party" for free as well?

Yes. When I upgraded the CM said I would only have access to my own, but I am able to download all of them.

Yeah but you used your hopper ticket those three days, which makes sense that you would get all those photos. On my first day we will only be using a christmas party ticket and not my park hopper.

My concern is if I don't use my park hopper on my first day then I won't get the Christmas party photos to download for free but on the other hand if I use one of my park hopper days on a day that I didn't intend to, then I will lose the last day of my FP+ selections since technically for the few minutes I am in the park until I upgrade to an AP I won't have a valid ticket for the last day of my FP+ selections.
