Another annoying FP+ question....

Even though I've used FP+ on previous trips I have a question. If you have selections made in one park but you would like to see what is available in another park on the same day will you need to cancel your current FP in order to check?

I have never been able to book our entire family into one time slot for HTF attractions before. Mostly because we are not able to plan trips months in advance so I play the game of 2 or 3 at a time until I can match them up. Well I was lucky enough to get some great times for the week of Easter for my family of 6 (although only 5 count) However I was just able to snag a breakfast in Magic Kingdom at Crystal Palace on the day we were going to go to Hollywood Studios, which is a Wednesday . So I was trying to see if I could get the same FP for Tuesday and switch the days. The problem is we have TSM passes for Wednesday and 7DMT passes on Tuesday. When I went to try and see what was available the site told me I would lose our current FP. So I'm not sure if I would lose them right away by just looking or only after I pick something new.

I still find this whole system incredibly aggravating. I hope my question made sense.

No, you can check available FP at another park without cancelling your existing FP.
Just go in as if you are booking new FP for that date.
It will alert you that you have existing FP. As long as you do not proceed past the page where you view the available FP you will not impact your existing FP
It does scare you to think you are messing something up but you are not.

You can use the MDE app and go to Modify > Replace and continue the process to check what's available at the other park. If nothing appeals to you, continually back out of all the MDE screens and your original FPs remain.

As long as you don't select any replacement options, your original FPs remain intact.
