Another ADR thread (sorry!)

Just made my ADRs and got everything I wanted and at the times I wanted or very close to so i'm happy not to mention relieved! I got:

12/10 Flying Fish Café dinner 535pm (wanted 600)
13/10 Whispering Canyon Café dinner 720pm (wanted 730)
15/10 Ohana breakfast 930am (changed from Kona Cafe as their times were earlier/later than I wanted and I think I was having second thoughts about no character meals anyway!)
16/10 50s Primetime dinner 700pm
17/10 Boma dinner 535pm (wanted 630 but no later, no big deal as I doubt we'd stay at AK past 5 anyway)
18/10 Ohana dinner 500pm (was worried I wouldn't get this as I wanted this exact time before MNSSHP so really pleased I got it)
19/10 Le Cellier lunch 140pm (wanted 130, the lunch menu has everything we want and it leaves the evening free for a quick CS meal and a final Fantasmic, Spectro/wishes or Illuminations =)
20/10 Boma breakfast 840am (wanted 900)

I get the feeling that since US free dining ends early in October (and UK people are less likely to know about online ADRs, or even that you need to make ADRs at all!) most people will have already had their 90 day mark so ADRs may well become slightly easier to get

I hope so i plan on getting up on sunday morning being logged on for 11 am and ready to do all my online adrs i really hope we get le cellier i am worrying about it

If it helps that was the first one I made (then Ohana dinner) and I was given a choice of times, I think it helps if you can make it towards the end of your 90+10 but i'm sure you'll be fine

we only go for a week and its the 5th day of our trip i will deff do that 1st and CRT

Well done for getting all your choices.

We phoned up on Sunday to do ours, all written out read, DD away for the weekend with my mum and twins asleep and DOH we had phoned on wrong day!
How could we be so wrong LOL.
Anyway CM was very nice and offered us MNSSHP tickets, but we already have them ha ha ha

i assume you're on the dining plane - just want to point out that the Flying Fish Cafe is a signature restaurant, meaning it's 2 table service credits per person on the dining plan...

Yep we ate at a few signature places last trip as we went offsite quite a lot. This time we're doing WDW the whole time bar one day and have 9 credits to use, plan to eat at Beaches and Cream OOP aswell

just wanted to be sure you knew...that would be upsetting only to find out when you get to the restaurant..

i was thinking of doing a few signatures this year as well, since i plan to eat at sweet tomatoes at least twice...so we won't need the dining credits on those days...
although what i'd REALLY like to do is eat at Victoria and Alberts.....

Great ADRS!!! I was really pleased I managed to get all mine - even though the first half of my holiday is within the US free dining - people dont seem to be having the same booking problems this year. I wonder if it going to be quieter?

I just did mine online and got almost everything I wanted.

Only one I couldn't get was Tony's for 18th when we go to MNSSHP, though they did offer us CRT in exchange

I've tweaked a couple already: Got Flying Fish at 5:50 and Boma dinner at 6:45 (just found out the AK picnic in the park has a vegetarian option which sounds awesome so we'll be wanting dinner a bit later!) It's just tooo easy with online booking

and at many of the restaurants they specially prepared food for her...the chef came out to see what she would like and then whipped it up special..
even at the crystal palace...

and at chef mickey's, one of the chefs came out to go through the buffet with her to tell her exactly what she could eat...

I'm not but my bf is We did free dining in 2007 and he ate like a king, Boma in particular was excellent. Chef TJ is definitely one in a million and largely the reason I made the Ohana dinner ADR (the menu is soo meat-centric but i've read multiple reports of him whipping up something special for veggies and vegans so we just couldn't miss it, he made Steve an amazing veggie stirfry at Boma which was huge and would have done us both for dinner even without the buffet!) He did have a few veggie burgers but it was nice that most places had options apart from that.
