Another ? about upgrades...

after reading the last gals' luck @ upgrades...got me curious.

Can you be upgraded if you're not in a Cat 11 gty (what does the gty stand for?).

We're in a Cat 6, stayed in Cat 4 (rm 8070) last time. This room's going to be a little smaller, but no MAJOR differences. We still get to cruise w/MickeyMo .

Also, kind of a dumb one, but does anyone know the luggage tag assigned for rooms in the 6000's? Last time we were Tinkerbell.

No, you don't have to be in a gty room to get an upgrade. gty means you are guaranteed a stateroom that is atleast in the cat. But no specific cabin number has been given yet.

if we have a specific room # and we do, does that "X" you out on the chance to recv?

No it doesn't. But keep in mind upgrades are very few and far between. There are people on this board who have sailed several times and never received an upgrade so make sure your not dissapointed if you dont get one.
