I made ADRs for my trip in June. If i sign up for the DDP,will I need to make new ones? Will the question that was asked(Are you on any plan?) which I answered no, cause a problem? Or do they just use it to track how many people use a plan vs those who don't? Will I need to transfr the ADRs I made to the plan?

I had asked a CM this very question: if I already made ADRs what happens to them if I buy the dining plan? She told me that it would not change. I would'nt have to rebook any of my ADRs.

Just remember that if you DO add the dining plan and you decide to dine at any of the pre-pay meals, HDDR/CRT:

If you're NOT on the DP they will charge your CC at the time of booking in full.

If you're on the DP they will NOT charge your CC at the time of booking. They will take your CC for holding the ADR.

It is a huge pain (at least it has been the two times they messed up) to get our refund back for the charges.

Is there a DVC dining plan now?? Did I miss something?

Yes, starting in January, DVC members can buy into the dining plan for trips beginning April 1st and beyond.

$37.99/adult per day and $10.99/child per day. You must buy for all people in your party, and for the entire length of your stay. You do not need to purchase any park tickets. From my understanding, it is the same dining plan as the MYW Disney Dining Plan.

Still don't know how they are going to handle split stays....have to wait and see on that.

I'm still waiting to see the plan on the member site, It's not there yet. Also no mention of it in the December Vacation Magic E-mail Update. :Pinkbounc

We are doing 2 stays, back to back, each 6 days apiece, in February. The first is with 3 of us at OKW, the second is with 12 of us at SSR. We were interested in purchasing the Magic Your Way tickets for the first 6 days with the dining plan. 2 questions:
1) Is this possible?
2) If it is possible, how long are the tickets for the parks or the meal tickets good for? On the WDW web site, they state they are good for 14 days.

Magic Your Way Tickets expire 14 days after first use, however with two 6 day stays, I think you'd be much better off with annual passes. According to reports from the annual meetings, it won't matter what type of park tickets you buy. The dining plan is tied to your room reservation, not your park tickets. So, for your first stay, the meal plan could be added, it would expire the day you check out from your first stay.

If the trip is in February, 2006 the dining plan will still not be available thru DVC. If the OKW and SSR stays were reserved thru CRO, the plan may be added. The DVC plan begins with stays after April 1, 2006.

Thanks, Doc, I missed that the trips were in February.
