Before we went I did request a room with MK view. We had a wonderful view. We were in room 4827. It was one of the rooms where you could lay in one of the beds and watch the fireworks. The room was way down on the end near Chef Mickey's. We could also see the electric water pagent from our room. The veiw was awesome
We did not request turn down service and every night the beds were turned down with chocolates. Our girls, ages 12, 10, and 8, thought that this was very neat. Who ever did the turn down service also arranged their pillows, blankets, and stuffed animals. It was fun to come back to our room at night to see what they had done.
Housekeeping was excellent. We tipped them from the very first day. They left a toothbrush holder made out of washcloth in the bathroom, and left an elephant made out of towels on the bed one day.
Breakfast was wonderful and was usually left out unitl 10 or 10:30. They said it did not start until 7, but on the mornings that we left for the parks before 7 we were able to eat. They had cerals, doughnuts, pastries, bagels, fresh fruit. Very nice spread.
The afternoon snacks are now just left out where the breakfast food is left. I think that the snacks were out anywhere from 12-1 until 4 or 4:30. No bottled water but I did not ask for any. They had juices, not in boxes, and a big bottle of distilled water that you poured into your glass. The snacks varied but they always had delicious cookies, ate way too many of those. Besides cookies, there was fruit, goldfish, pretzels, lemon bars, rice kripsie treats, wonderful cupcakes(my girls ate a ton of these). Can't remember what else they had. Just snacky kinds of foods.
The concierge staff now stays until 10pm and they are very helpful.
I'll be glad to answer any other questions.
When are you going?
