Really no better then Tephlon or similar non/low stick pans. Honestly, the best pans you can buy are straight stainless steel, but of a high quality. All Clad is a perfect example, sure they may be marginally more difficult to clean for certain things that stick really good, but you will never need to buy another set of pans if you take care of them.
I have made peanut brittle in our pans and that stuff is probably worst then burnt eggs when it comes to getting stuck, but after soaking for 5 minutes in hot water and then using some Barkeepers Friend, all was better.
