It's that time of year again. The Annual Chicagoland RV show will be here in just a few weeks.

To go or not to go, that is the question. Should I break down and go, it just tears at me that I still don't have my Class C. If I don't go, I can't smell that new camper smell I love so much.

Decisions decisions...... :confused3

We went to our RV show, we try to go every year, and we still don't have the camper of our dreams yet, one day, but it's still fun to us after all these years, I think it's funny, some people dream of big houses, some of owning a lot of land ...I dream about one day owning a montana travel trailer, isn't that crazy...I just love them so much for some reason. Me and my husband have that on our prayer list ..lol...I know someone needs a life. Just letting you know in a way I feel your pain, on a smaller financal scale...I would love to know what other people dream of having ? lol..

The Harrisburg RV Show happens every September and we go every year. We bought our trailer at the show in 2001. Yep - love that new RV smell but...don't let the RV sit in the sun without having a vent or window cracked open or the formaldehyde smell will kill ya :earseek:

Go to the show and dream. There is nothing wrong with dreaming.

New Heavy Duty Class C's?!? Pray tell....what will I be looking for???

I Really like the ShowHauler, but I have to pay for four college tuitions before I do that. So, what's this about something new, Scott? I feel the blood pumping!!

Went to the Tampa Rv Supershow 2 weeks ago, but we were going to buy! Like the previous poster, I love the Montana fifth wheel. They had tons to look at, spent all day Saturday there and Sunday, stopped off at Lazy Days for their supershow. We ended up choosing an Everest (made by the same people that make Montana's) that actually has 1 1/2 baths! How wonderful for a family that has 4 girls! However, dealing with the salesmen, they wanted to give us nothing for our travel trailer (also made by the same company that makes the Montana) and wanted us to pay full price for theirs. We decided to just pay our travel trailer off, save up a year and pay cash for a new fifth wheel. However, I will still go look at any camper, at any time, on any day!! Oh, the new smell!!!!!! Go, go, have a great time and I will be saving my money for next year's new models. :hourglass

I love the the everest line - especially the 364 q with the sunken living room, the challenger is very simular to the everest just not quite as frilly.
