It's that time of year again to share with others those gifts that you've received over the last year that you just can't use. There is also a orange cat mascot that needs a new home. Wonder which DISer will receive it this year?

Postage is the only expense in this exchange, you do not have to buy anything. Any item you send must be new, not used in any way. You can send one item or several in your package, the choice is yours.

Sign ups will close on Friday, January 19th.

The mail by date will be Saturday, January 27th.

You never know, something that doesn't suit you may be just the thing for someone else.

Is there an approximate dollar value for this exchange? Should the item be worth at least $10.00, $20.00 or doesn't it matter at all?

We are all on our honor but I would say that if you send only one item, it should be worth at least $5.

By the way, here is one stipulation which I will add to my first post. Waiting until you receive your package and then using what you don't want out of it to pass along as your re-gift items for this exchange is not allowed. That is a no-no.

Hey everyone! How is your morning going? It's been sleeting here since before 5:30.

I'm sitting here waiting till I get to go to the Doctors. They gave me a new Antibiotic for Bronchitis, and OMG, I'm breaking out in hives... At first I thought it was just sun sensitivity, but after I took my shower last night. it seems any heat will bring them out. Not good when we've been having an unseasonably warm winter. OMG do I itch.

The sun is out here--altho it's cold. We haven't had any snow at all yet. I'm not really complaining...but some would be nice.

Sorry to hear about the hives! My son had that reaction to amoxicillin. At least they went away fast once he stopped taking the medicine.

Got a shot in the butt with a steroid, and the hives have stopped. A change of meds to levaquin and I should be right as rain in a few days.
