Annual Power Pass-Publix

If you purchase the annual power pass (Fla resident) at Publix, when you get to the theme park, where do you go for first time use at park? I'm assuming I would have to stand in line either at the ticket counter or at guest relations for first time use to activate it...not sure how that works.

Is the procedure any different if I purchase annual pass online? Which is the better route?

Just bought two of these passes from Publix and it states on the back *Once avtivated,exchange this pass for a permanent 2-park annual power pass at any Universal Orlando theme park ticket window. Proof of Florida residency required.* Don't know if that helps. Be sure to look for the Limited Edition WWoHP passes at Publix.

Oh, so I have to stand in line at the ticket counter with everyone else buying tickets to get it converted? Ugh...
